About this dataset
Approved Building Permits from the City of Saint Paul, covering the current year back through 2015. This page filters to primary Building Permit records with WORK_TYPE = ‘New’ and a residential occupancy sub-type (Single Family Dwelling, 2-Family/Duplex, Residential Multi-Family, or Mixed Commercial/Residential). Accessory structures (detached garages, sheds, pools, decks), remodels, repairs, additions, and the downstream electrical, plumbing, and mechanical sub-permits that accompany a build are all excluded.
